This is the same time tested form fitting frame iShot Products uses in our other line of G8 Pro mounts for ipad 2 3 4 and ipad mini, this ones just for the iPad Air 2. No Ball Head Included or Tripod. The form fitting case is made from protective ABS to keep the iPad snug and protected. The frame includes a camera/port slots so if you need to take pictures with your iPad while it’s mounted it’s easy to do. In addition, we’ve riveted on a thick plastic plate that includes a threaded brass ¼-20 mount for extended wear and universal fit to any tripod head you already own. Rivets are completely recessed to protect against scratches on your iPad. Simply screw the G8 Pro iPad Tripod Mount to your tripod head and insert your iPad and you’re good to go. You’ll have the full range of motion your tripod head offers with the security of knowing the iPad will stay put in the G8 Pro form fitting frame. While it’s great for studio, office and home set-ups, at 7.5 x 9.625 x 1.0 and only 6 ounces, this mount easily stows with your other gear if you need to take it on the road.
