The NESCO js-5000t is our newest jet stream 2 oven that cooks with superior quality. It is up to 3 times faster than a conventional oven, up to 2 times faster than convection ovens and is as fast as a microwave oven but delivers superior taste and quality food. Unlike a microwave oven, the jet stream 2 oven has a six in one cooking system with patented cyclonic system that makes it possible to roast, grill, broil and air fry creating browned tender meats. It also steams and bakes which produces tender vegetables and fluffy baked goods. The jet stream 2 oven features a user friendly digital keypad to set fan speed, cooking time and cooking temperature and timer that is programmable up to 99 minutes with auto off. There are two fan speeds – high and low – to cook all types of food to perfection. The temperature control has nine pre-set settings ranging from 200-degrees to 400-degrees Fahrenheit. The powerful halogen element and efficient convection fan combine for great cooking results. The oven includes a quality plated cooking rack with two height levels and a handy baking pan. The deep cooking well is BPA free and the glass lid allows the cooking food to be viewed. The integrated lid and motor unit comes off the cooking base and rests steadily on rubber supports. This is safer than a hinged lid unit as you can place the hot lid away from the cooking area. The base and cook well are dishwasher safe.
