> Installation: Remove back cover of your phone and replace with smart case. Simply snaps into place same as original back cover.

> Activation: To activate smart case – turn on phone, unlock screen and close case. You may have to open and close the case several times. Phone should automatically switch to S-View mode and ask you to choose background color.

> Sleep/Wake: To activate sleep/wake, go to Settings|General|Accessory|S View Cover and make sure that the ‘Automatic Unlock’ function is enabled.

Note: For the sleep/wake function to work you cannot use a lock code or password on your lock screen.

> Troubleshooting: If your case loses smart functionality, please completely power off your phone and turn back on, then follow activation steps outlined above. As with any smart phone, it is a good practice to power down your phone once a week regardless.
