TV stays 1.5″ away from the wall. 31.5″ wide wall plate supports block wall installation or installation on either 8″, 12″ or 16″ wall studs. The 1/8″ thick steel wall plate also has 3 wide pass-through holes so that cables and cords can be fished into the wall interior for a clean installation look. This universal wall mount attaches to any flat screen with a mounting hole pattern up to 31″ wide by 19″ tall. Safety screws provided to prevent the TV from sliding out from the side. Mount has built-in lateral shift allowing to adjust the location of the brackets to suit the holes behind the TV.

Tilting capability allows the mount to be tilted downwards up to 12 degrees.
